Free posters and brochures are available from the Oregon Center for Public Policy as part of their outreach campaign to increase the use of tax credits for working families. The materials mention the Federal and Oregon Earned Income Credits, the Federal Additional Child Credit, and the Oregon Working Family Child Care Credit. In addition, the materials provide information on how low-income families can get free help doing their taxes.

The tax credits are an important resource for low income working Oregonians. Many families don't apply for the credits simply because they don't know about them.

Organizations serving low income working Oregonians are encouraged to contact the Oregon Center on Public Policy to receive the free outreach materials: call: (503) 873-1201; email credits@ocpp.org; or write to OCPP, P.O. Box 7, Silverton, OR 97381-0007.

The Oregon Center for Public Policy is a statewide nonpartisan research group that analyzes budget and tax issues and government programs, and their impacts on low to moderate income Oregonians.
