“Inequality.is” Fun

Income inequality is serious stuff, perhaps the most pressing economic issue of our times. But that doesn’t mean that learning about income inequality has to be dull.

Our friends at the Economic Policy Institute have created an entertaining website called Inequality.is. This interactive tool allows you to explore inequality’s causes, the extent of the problem, and ideas about fixes.

You will learn that income inequality is real, personal, expensive and it was created.

The site even includes a video of an animated Robert Reich, who walks us through the policies that led to the rise in income inequality.

Have fun checking out Inequality.is.

Prior to starting the Center, Chuck lobbied the Oregon legislature on tax policies and on human services programs' policies and budgets on behalf of legal aid clients (1992 to 1996) and the low-income clients of the Oregon Law Center (1997).
