[35] The 2016 Oregon Legislature voted to increase Oregon’s match of the federal EITC from 8 to 11 percent for families with children under age three for tax years 2017 through 2019. The Oregon Legislative Revenue Office estimated that this change would benefit some 58,000 families, increasing their average EITC from $229 to $315.
